Columbia City...Tri-Lakes, Indiana - A Childhood Memory

I am now 59, but when I was in the 8th grade I came to this house for a dance party.
Years later, this house came up for sale and I knew right away I was going to buy it. It is the only one in the county. More of this story in Lustron Stories.

Kensington, CT

My parents were the original owners (June 1949). I grew up in this house, and moved back in a couple of years ago. The gutters have been replaced, but the siding, roof and windows are original, as is much of the interior (please see attached photos). There is also a one-bedroom addition (wood) and a Lustron-compatible garage (concrete block).

Spring Valley, MN A Special Lustron in A Great Place

This is a Westchester 3 bedroom, 1 bath Lustron constructed in 1953. It is the only Lustron in this small community in southern Minnesota. I am really enjoying fixing it to suit my decorating taste without taking away from the original concept.

Springfield, Ohio - A Lustron Roof Caringly Preserved

Attached are pictures of our Lustron in Springfield, Ohio.
We still have the original Lustron roof. This past year we learned that the roof was bad and because we are so in love with the little house, we found a roofing company to sand the tiles that were bad, patch the places needing it and coat everything with a rubber coating.

We are in a very high traffic area and zoned commercial so we thought a great color and a bit of funk would help us to stand out.
